The Office of the Inspector-General Emergency Management produces a range of
papers and reports to provide independent assurance and advice about the
effectiveness of emergency management arrangements in Queensland. The majority
of these publications are based on the Emergency Management Assurance Framework,
which includes the Standard for Disaster Management in Queensland.
The Office of the IGEM can also be tasked to conduct specific reviews that
are subject to set Terms of Reference. These prescribed Reviews are based on
their respective Terms of Reference, and can be informed by the Standard for
Disaster Management in Queensland.
