The IGEM Privacy and Security Statement

The Office of the Inspector-General Emergency Management (IGEM) is committed to protecting user privacy. We understand and appreciate that visitors and users of this website are concerned about their privacy and the confidentiality and security of any information that may be provided to us. The Queensland Government has enacted the Information Privacy Act 2009 (the Act) for Queensland public sector agencies to comply with when dealing with personal information.​​

The IGEM and Office of the IGEM are captured under the former Department of Community Safety Privacy Plan and privacy guidelines.

Information is available pertaining to the IGEM’s commitment and obligations regarding privacy.

Complaints Procedures

Complaints regarding the service delivery, actions and decisions of the IGEM and the Office of the IGEM are managed by the Principal Advisor, Complaints Management within the Public Safety Business Agency.

Complaints can be made online, via email or in writing.
