About the Forum
Welcome to 2024 Queensland Disaster Management Research Forum.
The Queensland Disaster Management Research Forum is open to all disaster management practitioners and researchers. It will be a space for researchers and practitioners to meet, share ideas and start conversations.
Join us at Rydges Southbank for a day packed with excitement, developed in collaboration with the Queensland Research Forum Working Group.
The forum will feature:

- Networking opportunities: Connect with peers and expand your professional network
Sector challenges and insights
Disaster Management leaders and practitioners share the challenges they face and insights of the current climate and into the future.
Early career researchers
Emerging researchers present their work and explore how research can seamlessly transition into practical decision-making within the disaster management sector.
Relationships
The forum provides a place for the disaster management and research sectors to come together and develop strong collaborative relationships.

Tickets
The Disaster Management Research Forum is a free event.
When: Tuesday, 19th November 9.00am - 5.00pm (Registration at 8.30am)
Registration: Open for both in-person and virtual attendance. If you can’t join us in-person, select the virtual ticket option.
