About the Forum
The Inspector-General of Emergency Management is hosting the Disaster Management Research Forum in Brisbane.
The forum theme was 'Think Bigger' and was open to all disaster management practitioners and early career researchers to collaborate, share research and make connections.

Disaster Management leaders and practitioners shared the challenges they face and insights of the current climate and into the future.
Early career researchers
Early career researchers showcased their research, brokered knowledge and highlighted transitions between research, practice and decision making.
Relationships
The forum provided a place for the disaster management and research sectors to come together and develop strong collaborative relationships.
